When leaving a parking space, or making in turn in a small road, sometimes you can't reaaly see the whole range infront of you. There should be cameras at the front of the engine so that you can see if a car is coming

Available as an option in Japan at least since 2004 for cars with built in navi or monitor, e.g. the Toyota Prius. It looks like a small pip on the front emblem and shows both the left and right side view.
